Buddha Statue from India Gifted to the Kelaniya Rajamaha Viharaya

A Buddha statue from India was gifted to the Kelaniya Temple - One of the most sacred sites of Sri Lanka, believed to have been built in the era prior to the chronologically recorded history of Sri Lanka. The event took place on 30th of September 2007.
