Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Sergey Lavrov paid a working visit to Sri Lanka on the 26th October 2009 during which time he met the Sri Lanka-Russia Business Council at the BMICH. The Russian Minister's visit to Sri Lanka further strengthened and brought Sri Lanka-Russia relations to a new height.
