“Wahalkada” Opening Ceremony at Naramminiya Ashokaramaya Temple

Under the patronage of the chief incumbent of the Naramminiya Ashokaramaya, Venerable Kuruduwatte Gnanasara Thero, Dr. Saman Weerasinghe, former Sri Lankan Ambassador to Russian Federation, Chairman of the Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya “Dayaka Sabha”, funded and ceremoniously inaugurated the vestibule for the Naramminiya Asokaramaya In Kelaniya, a primary sculptured gateway referred to as the 'Wahalkada’ on his 60th birthday, 17th October 2021. The vestibule was inaugurated in the presence of Most Ven, The Chief Incumbent of Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya, Professor Kollupitiye Mahinda Sangharakkhitha Thera.
